Inspiration Italy: 3 Women Paint the Heart of Cortona
at the Lichtenstein Center for the Arts
Opening reception: Saturday, March 21 from 4-6 pm
Three women artists — Karen Arp-Sandel, Carol Aquilano, and Leigh Ann Smith — traveled together to the Tuscan hill town of Cortona, Italy, called the "City of Art and History," made famous by Frances Mayes’ book, Under the Tuscan Sun. Their sun and color-filled landscapes and still lifes, both traditional and offbeat, will bring the scents and feel of Italy to your senses.

Dada Doggy released from Hudson Police Dept. in time for Dog Gone Auction
The DADA doggy, repaired and restored by the artist to his original Canine Collage perfection after languishing for 4 weeks in HPD as criminal evidence of a felony, joined over sixty other hounds for the Hudson, NY auction on Oct 12th. He "fetched" $850 dollars to benefit the select charities. In total $45,000 was raised by the sale of the artist dogs on that day. The Mama of Dada was happy to see her doggy going to a new home!
